The Challenge

Trident Reach the People Charity, which provides housing and support to vulnerable people, had not previously promoted its work when it asked us to raise the organisation’s profile through a targeted PR and communications strategy.

The Solution

We met with key members of their team, brainstormed stories unique to the charity and drew up a plan to maximise publicity. Our work included research which uncovered the fact that one of their buildings, Perrott’s Folly, was the inspiration for the towers in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.

This strategy achieved nearly £2 million of TV, broadcast and print media coverage in just one year, in turn attracting financial and voluntary support from businesses and individuals for the charity.
