The Challenge

Having spearheaded a successful communications strategy to publicise the creation of a new Leicestershire school, Charnwood College, we stepped the campaign up a gear. We needed to sell the school to the crucial – but tough to impress – young audience of potential students.

The Solution

We created – from planning to rehearsing, filming and editing – England’s first official school LipDub video to showcase the college. Based around Katy Perry’s inspiring hit ‘Firework’, the film involved over 500 staff and students, and was launched at a glittering Oscars-style premiere at the school.

The mini movie was a hit, attracting nearly 30,000 YouTube views to date and glowing praise from people all over the world.

Proud of Our Achievements

The video gained positive media coverage which sparked huge interest among the area’s young people and their parents. The icing on the cake was when the film helped the school win ‘Educator of the Year’ in the Pride of Loughborough awards.
