The Challenge

We bought our hands-on experience to the fore when asked to deliver a series of lectures at the University of Leicester on handling the media in times of crisis. The University of Leicester asked Word Association Chief Executive Mark Thomas to deliver a series of lectures and seminars to students on its Media and Public Relations MA degree course.

The Solution

The five half-day sessions covered identifying a crisis and its implications, managing the needs of the media, being prepared for a crisis, how to act when a crisis hits and managing the wider impact.

Planning workshops and guest lecturers with specialist knowledge.

Proud of Our Achievements

We planned the workshops and involved other Word Association staff, as well as guest lecturers with specialist knowledge, including the Editor of the Coventry Telegraph.
